Dill went away this morning :< I felt awkward and sad because he asked me to marry him, which made me awkward, and he went away so fast that makes me sad. I spent most of my time with Miss Maudie in the summer, because we tried to act out Boo’s life, but soon Atticus found out and that was the end of our fun. The day before Dill’s departure, we tried to seek in from the back of the Radley’s house and see what Boo looks like. We successfully sneak in, but a shadow came into our sight just as Jem tried to look into the window. We fled out of the house, but Jem lost his pants in order to escape. He insisted on going back for the pants, but when he came back, he became silent and isolated.
